Now that the server is playing custom maps.......I thought I would start asking about what we can do to make the server better. I've been spending a lot of time over the past month trying to get the mod tweaked the way that most seem to like. So now it's time to start looking into the maps. I know a few OCS members have stated they would like to keep the larger maps out of rotation, and I've had a few talk about small maps be taken out. I'd like to get an overview of what our members like on the whole, and see about getting more added. If there are maps that have been played in other servers that you feel would make a good addition to our rotation......I'll try to find it and get it loaded up.

TMD? Domination? SAB? A mix? What is your favorite style of game play, and what would you like to be playing when you log into the OCS server?

Over all I have no complaints.  I think you've done a great job !

I feel we have a nice mix of maps in rotation right now. The only one I notice is that Rust is consistently a crowd killer.

I think we should stick to TDM last go round we switched around and we lost our following.

Maybe it is just me but the map times seem a little short .... What are we running 15 min maps ?

Would it be OK to add a little time after map is over to type to people. As it is right now you barely have time to type good game and wooosh into new map

I would have to agree on Rust.  Even with four players its a bit too tight.  Medium sized maps are best.  Large ones will be nice when we can get numbers in the 20s but at 10 or less all you do is hunt.

I enjoy all map. I think TDM is best. Maybe one day, we have special event like domination or something. I feel 15 min is good. 20 min may be good also.

we see new players coming in which is very exciting!

Great input guys. Just so you know......the maps are set at 20 minutes......with a 5000 point cap. I can certainly remove rust for now if people are not liking it. I can jump into the config file and see what I can do about increasing the amount of time after a game showing scores and allowing chat. I think I'll also look around and find something to replace rust and a big map called village which appears way too big for the amount playing right now.

I think the time for respawning should about 5 seconds rather than 2 seconds. That will give player change to run from one position to another in order to set up another amush, camp, or hide. This will also give us a chance to type the text to start some "ribbing" conservation to lighten the game. You know what I am saying?
